For Doulas and Birth Workers

You hold so much for others — we’re here to hold space for you.

You support families through some of their most important — and tender — moments.

At COPHI, we believe that those who care for others need space to recharge, connect, and grow. That’s why we offer safe spaces to learn, talk about challenges, and build community with others doing this work.

You’re not expected to have all the answers. You just need a place to ask the real questions.

For Providers and Health Partners

When families thrive, communities do too —
your partnership makes it possible.

By partnering with doulas, you help create safer, more connected birth experiences — especially for families who need it most.

COPHI supports providers with referral guides and tools that help strengthen trust and care coordination.

Improving care during pregnancy and birth— together.

The Boston Community-Based Perinatal Health Initiative (COPHI) is built on collaboration and care.

The mission of Boston COPHI is to enhance birth equity in perinatal health by increasing access to high-quality community-based doula services for Black and Latin families. COPHI aims to grow the Boston Doula workforce by training community members as doulas, providing culturally competent training to current doulas, and educating community stakeholders on the advantages of doula services.

When families have trusted doulas and compassionate providers, everyone benefits.
